Thanksgiving Week

Not sure if the holiday season just hit me, but I have been in a terrific mood this week! I want to shout my happiness from the roof tops!!! I feel extremely blessed with the direction things are moving in my life and I feel great things are in store for those around me.

I am grateful for everything in my life. I have a wonderful husband who I thank God every day for, I have a loving family who drives me nuts A LOT but I LOVE and I have great friends who add so much humor and excitement to my life. I am very thankful for everything and everyone in my life. God has brought many opportunities to me this year and I hope to fulfill all that is wished of me.

But in addition to my good fortune, I see great things on the horizon for those around me. There are many people in my life who have good hearts, are passionate and hard working individuals and I feel great things are or about to be happening for them. And seeing others happy & it makes me happy! I like to focus on the positive things happening and I believe this holiday season has many miracles in store.

This week is Thanksgiving. And on that day I will once again be proclaiming my gratefulness of the wonderful things in my life, but tonight I want to share a bit of wisdom for those who feel like things may not be going as planned for them. This is a poem I keep running into and it holds a lot of power; it reminds me of why I can't be negative. Like the Law of Attraction states, we have the power to help create our own realities. And I believe in the power of positive thinking...

Don't Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will
When the road your trudging seems all up hill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh
When care is keeping you down a bit,
Rest-if you must, but don't you quit!

Life is queer with its twist and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow
You might succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
it seems to a faint and faltering man.
Often the struggler has given up.
When he might have captured the victor's cup.
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out.
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worse you mustn't quit!

I'm wishing you a happy and positive holiday season. Here's to a bright and beautiful 2011! :)
